THOMAS FREISMUTH
A former Austrian football player with a degree in International Football Business and a special interest in football player development, player representation and sports education.

After concluding his football career in Austria at an early stage, Thomas pursued his academic education in International Football Business at the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) in London/Wembley, where he was also awarded a Programme Award for his outstanding academic performance.
Since then, he has built an extensive career within the global football industry, working with renowned organisations such as Red Bull, the UEFA Champions League, Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC, and SK Rapid Vienna, among many others.
Today, Thomas is Managing Director of GROW, representing professional footballers across Europe. Under his leadership, GROW has established itself as one of Austria's leading football agencies and has been involved in several landmark transactions, including the record outgoing transfer of an Austrian football manager (2024) and the highest-value outgoing transfer of an Austrian player from the Austrian Bundesliga (2026).
In addition to his agency work, Thomas actively supports German-speaking students in gaining access to football management degree programmes in London. He also lectures on the football industry at various academic institutions, including IFI, FH Joanneum, Bundesliga Campus, UCFB and AMOS.
In 2023, Thomas co-authored his first book, "How To Become A Football Agent" together with Dr. Erkut Sögüt. The book has since been published in German, Spanish and Turkish and serves as a practical guide for aspiring football agents worldwide.
